Looking for a truly weird alt-rock performance? Check out Arvo Pärt.

The song is called “Meiecundimees üks Korsakov läks…” and was entered in Eurovision. Jüri, my new Estonian friend, is intent on schooling me on the music of his homeland. Take that, Tommy Lee. Weirdly, though, it didn’t make the cut (they finished third). WTF, right? The song is about a friend named Korsakov who went to neighbouring Latvia to buy booze after the government raised taxes on alcohol. Once things get rolling, keep an eye out for the two drummers at the back. As a gentle(!!!) introduction, he sent me a link to a performance by Arvo Pärt from 2014 in which he and his band provided the live soundtrack to a fashion show.
