So what did Apple announced at WWDC 2018? Well…
So what can we expect? This will be good for me because I occasionally forget to launch my workout app when I get started. When it arrives fully-baked this fall, it will come with something called “dark mode.” From the press release:
Dark Mode
macOS Mojave users can switch to Dark Mode to transform their desktop to a darkened colour scheme, putting the focus on user content while controls recede into the background. “Yoga” and “Hiking” will be added to the fitness choices. Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) opened in San Jose today, which Apple uses as a platform to announce plans for the future. Siri Update
In my experience, Google Assistant is better and more accurate than Siri. An API is available so developers can implement Dark Mode in their apps. And there’s a new walkie-talkie feature that will let approved people drop a voice message onto your watch. Better resolution plus Dolby ATMOS–but not until the fall. WatchOS5
More fitness features, including auto-workout detect.   iOS12
Both iPhones and iPads will have an OS update with the new digital health dashboard–something designed to break our cell phone addictions, at least a little bit–getting top billing. More iOS12 features here. Users can toggle between a light and dark desktop, and built-in Mac apps like Mail, Messages, Maps, Calendar and Photos all include Dark Mode designs. Users will be able to set limits on how much they use their devices. macOS Mojave also features a new Dynamic Desktop that automatically changes the desktop picture to match the time of day. Great for listening while running! Improved desktop and Finder, Group FaceTime (up to 32 simultaneous users), high levels of security and an all-new Mac App Store. The bad news? The best thing for me? No more faking out the device by adding podcasts to playlists so they’ll play. Access to podcasts on your Apple Watch. We’ll be able to set Do Not Disturb for when we go to bed, too. Apple TV 4K
They call it tvOS12. What else? Ain’t technology great? MacOS Mojave
This is…10.14? If you think that iPhones are lacking in the emoji department, more are coming, including something called Memoj which, among other things, will allow you to make Apple’s Aminoji’s stick their tongues out. I have an original Watch. This update won’t work with it. Older iPhones will speed up, too. There’s a new shortcut app that might work for you, though.
