I am a 21 year old individual.
I was born prematurely at under 8 months.
I stand at 5’3”.
I don’t think my bones have “hardened” just yet, as I am still in puberty.
…My facial hair is still growing in =)
…Sadly though, I haven’t grown taller since 16.

I have been looking into taking HGH.
Will this “make-up” for my early birth, and make my body reach the potential it is meant to be?
I have read that basically that is what HGH is supposed to do for growth deficiency…..

If there is any other thing someone can suggest; I am open!

Chosen Answer:

I’m an adult in my 30s who takes GH (its not human–stopped making from cadavers yrs ago) for pituitary deficiency. Puberty stops long before 21, even if you think you are still growing you’re not. Even if you were, you would have to have a GH deficiency (as in your pituitary does not produce enough) to get a prescription for it. It would not help you grow if you are past puberty and have hit your full height.

i think its too late but ask your doctor, the other option is surgically getting your lower leg bones cut in two and streaching the skin slowly while the new bones grow in. expensive and painful and takes a year or two.
